About this work

The Long line introduced a silhouette characterised by elongated lines and more fluid forms. Designed to enhance the figure, the collection aligned with Christian Dior’s vision of elegant femininity, marking a transition towards less restrictive designs, focusing on comfort while maintaining the couture house’s signature style. The Long line was to become the designer’s favourite.
