About this work

John Galliano’s Freud Fetish collection explores fetishism and repressed sexuality. Each work in the collection is a character, indulging the designer’s love of costume. The cast included a bleeding Marie Antoinette, a sadistic priest, a showgirl with a gorilla mask and this Dress and bodysuit, modelled by Sophie Dahl in the role of the ‘sexy maid’.
