About this work

Marc Newson has designed some of the most iconic industrial products, furniture and interiors of the last forty years. His work draws inspiration from air and space travel, life sciences and cosmology. A limited-edition design, the LC2 Lockheed lounge references aerospace engineeringand features riveted aluminium sheets over a curvaceous fibreglass body. It gained global attention after appearing in Madonna’s 1993 ‘Rain’ music video, solidifying Newson’s presence in the design world.
