Elle aouit dé= / ja esté prise par le Prince de Condé & depuis encore par le Vicomte / de Turenne. Les Espagnols y rentrerent par le traitté des Pyrenées, & / firent bastir vne Citadelle alénoroit par où ces deux Generaux lá= / voient attaquée. Le Roy n’attaqua d’abord que la Citadelle, mais en= / suitte il fit aussi ouurir vne tranchée vers la Ville. La garnison estoit / de deux mille cinq cens hommes don’t le feu fut fort grand les pre= / miers jours. Toute-fois la Contrescarpe ayant esté emportée lespée a la / main, la Ville & la Citadelle se rendirent toutes deux le 25 Mars 1678.
