Physical description
Equestrienne outfit of navy blue twill wool, comprising bodice and skirt. (a) Bodice has a high neck with centre front fastening with a series of hooks and loops, long fitted sleeves, centre front closure of left side trimmed with 25 false silk covered buttons, and 3 matching buttons on each cuff, trimmed with black silk braid. Bodice has an inner waistband and is lined with pale green cotton. The lining is padded and quilted. Peplum at back is divided and decorated with two buttons and silk braid. (b) Matching long skirt, gathered at waist with a wrap-over, closing at left side and cut for riding side-saddle. Skirt is unlined.
