Physical description
Calf-length wedding dress of cream silk damask. The bodice has an attached panel of cream silk georgette decorated with bugle beads and pearls and fastens with metal hooks and eyes. An attached cross-over vest of silk damask fastens to the left proper side with press studs, edged with picot of silk thread. Wide sleeves of silk georgette decorated with beads and pearls have shoulder padding. The asymmetrical overskirt of silk damask is cut on the bias and weighted at the hem, opening on one side. The silk georgette underskirt is decorated with beaded floral and horizontal motifs and edged with two rows of beads. The dress is lined with Jap silk and beaded at the hem.
