Physical description
A large hanging pocket featuring embroidery in the botanical style on white silk satin ground. A pair of stems with pale green leaves and pink flowers are positioned on each side of the front panel. The pair of stems are connected to a large mirrored motif of leaves arching towards the top of the composition. The leaves are worked in fine metallic threads and flat metallic thread in three variations of couching stitch. The leaves are satin stitched in two shades of blue silk thread. In the middle is another stem of golden leaves and white trumpet shaped flowers with blue highlights.
