Physical description
Boned bodice of black spotted self-patterned silk with black lace panels centre front and on left and right sides over shoulder. The long leg-of-mutton sleeves have a ruched panel running down the outer length and a deep lace cuff. Black velvet V-shaped waist band. Bodice fastens centre front with concealed metal hooks and eyes. Inside waist tape with metal buckle. Lined with glazed black cotton.
