Physical description
Full length long sleeve dressing gown, multi-coloured made in crazy patchwork. Each piece machine sewn together and embroidered over the joins with herringbone stitch in contrasting colours. Randomly appliquéd across the fabric are machine embroidered decorative motifs such as birds and people, that were removed from the original catalogues imported from Switzerland and found in a store in Geelong. Blue painted girdle with multi-coloured tassel ends. Lined with bright blue satin floral.
