Physical description
Cream cotton skull cap embroidered in multicoloured silks in formalized floral repeat pattern in purple, green, red, violet and yellow. The circular cap has a heavily embroidered band of floral design executed in half-cross stitch, or tent stitch. The flat crown is worked in a satin stitch and the stylized flowers are outlined in a fine black straight stitch. The cap is lined with handwoven plain cream cotton.
