Physical description
Full-length, black silk dress with long sleeves. The bodice features a turn down collar, attached false waistcoat and cuffs of cream satin with black velvet pinstripe. The neckline, armholes and hemline is decorated with hand embroidered French knots in black silk thread. The overskirt has an attached cummerbund decorated at rear with six covered buttons and a floating panel. Four black plastic buttons decorate centre front and each cuff. The dress fastens along the proper left side with a series of hooks and loops and snap fasteners.
