Physical description
Lidded ovoid vase with short outward-scrolling handles in white, decorated in relief with a figure group on one side, on the other a clump of trees with sheep. Frieze of acanthus and anthemion on the shoulder, stiff-leaf and dart pattern below the figures. Set on a square white jasper plinth with ovolo moulding.
