Physical description
This painting "was originally intended as a poster design commissioned by the Australian Bicentennial Authority's Arts Programme. It depicts Calliope, Muse of Poetry and Eloquence, observing and recording the effects of Thalia, Muse of Comedy, to rescue Terpsichore, Muse of the Dance."
