Physical description
The hat has a broad brim on a moulded sparterie base, which is draped across the surface with pleated cream silk satin. The fabric is manipulated to form peaks and swirls, simulating whipped ice-cream. A hat pin decorated with an artificial cherry decorates the top peak. The hat is lined with white chiffon.
