Physical description
The head of the female bust looks to the left. The hair is drawn back tightly from the forehead, plaited and coiled around a drooping chignon at the upper back of the head. The shoulders are loosely draped and the bust is mounted on a turned socle. The bust is inscribed on the back: ChaSummers F. Rome. 1877
