One of a number of variants on the Louis XV revival frame. A number of frames in this form appear under the Thallon label when the company was managed by John Thallon's successor, Ted Burman.

Materials: The frame is made from composition ornaments applied to a wooden chassis taking the form of Louis XV revival frames. The surface is gilded with false gold, matt throughout. The scotia carries a stippled texture in the ground.
Frame Condition: Good original condition throughout.
Dimensions: 142.9 x 111.0 x 6.5 cm; sight 115.3 x 83.5 cm
