Peasant style blouse of lilac silk taffeta with wide round neckline which is lower at the back. The body of the blouse and sleeves are very full, gathering from the neckband and shoulders, narrowing at the wrist, fastened by a single lilac coloured button. Single stitched welted seams run the length of the left and right front and centre back. The puff-style harem skirt of aqua silk taffeta has a cream organza lining from the inside waist to the halfway point where it joins the gathered and turned up hem of the skirt. The skirt fastens at the side with a zip and a single button at the waistband. The long sash is of a heavier purple silk and is widest at the centre, tapering off at both ends, cut on the cross in 3 sections, with join seams running diagonally.
