Physical description
The black felt hat has a tall narrow crown encircled by a high upturned brim. The title refers to the tradition of men wearing a Top hat in a dull black fabric at the Opera. This hat however makes fun at this genre by distorting the classic shape of such a hat, and ignoring its sexual demarcation and its traditional function.
