Physical description
Pink silk evening coat featuring a wide high standing collar, short sleeves and large circular skirt section. The collar and yoke are formed from the same fabric panel with the body of the coat falling away widely from underneath the bust. At each side beneath the sleeve, the fabric is densely pleated to form stiff gathering folds that billow outwards. Two small fabric bows decorate the top of each cluster of pleats. The coat is unlined and simply wraps at centre front to enclose the body.
