Physical description
(a) A collarless jacket of pale grey gabardine, decorated across the centre front panels with ornate applique work using grey silk moire, brown silk satin and blue velve fabrics cut into asymmetric shapes and finished with dark blue braid. The right front panel crosses over the left, fastening with a large black faceted glass button. The long sleeves are accentuated at the sholders with shoulder pads and the cuffs are outlined with matching braid and a set of three smaller black glass faceted buttons. (b) Matching grey gabardine short A-line skirt with a green rayon acetate lining. (c) Sleeveless black satin top with round neckline.
