Physical description
The sleeveless long dress in cream and dark brown wool crepe has little shaping and is cut in a severe A-line. The cream fabric forms the bodice, and is cut to partly continue below the waistline forming a bulbous configuration. This decorative device provides a stark contrast to the dark brown skirt panel. The matching coat is made from dark brown wool crepe; the single-breasted front fastens with five clear plastic buttons outlined with gold metallic paint. The coat is decorated with non-contrasting, top stitching outlining the shape of the garment, from the collar to the hem. The coat is also cut and constructed in a minimal manner. The two front pockets are formed in large circular shapes and positioned at hip level. The coat and dress are lined in cream rayon fabric printed overall with a gold metallic pattern with the designer's name.
