Physical description
Sandals with high wooden platform, carved with a flower and leaf design, painted in metallic gold paint and clear lacquer. The base of the platform curves up at the toe and down at the rear of the of the sole, forming a flat heel base to balance the sandals. The uppers are of a wine coloured silk velvet, which is printed with an abstract design in black, and consist of an open toed leather lined panel across the front of the sandal and two long ties for fastening at the ankle. The insole and sole are leather and the top piece of the heel is black resin.
