Physical description
Textile hanging constructed with alternating panels of silk fabric. One layer has sheer stripes with narrow satin weft stripes in orange, purple, blue and yellow, which criss-cross each other. The entire surface has a random splattered dye treatment. The second layer is also silk, with alternating sheer and dense raw silk squares. These sections have a batik design of arched lines and abstract shapes, created by using fibre reactive dyes in white, brown and orange in-filled with hatched and squiggled lines.
