Physical description
The textile hanging has several metres of tan silk organza printed in a black geometric grid pattern which merges into a band of brown velvet devoré in a chevron pattern applied in various orientations. The bottom border of deep pink velvet is printed with an ornate pattern which fuses floral and architectural elements. The two velvet bands are lined with brown chiffon printed in tan with an irregular striped pattern. The top of the hanging has a narrow slipcase for a dowel to facilitate the hanging of the work.
