Physical description
Large hand built amphora with rounded body, everted rim and slightly flattened base. There are two large handles joined to the neck and upper body or shoulder. Two perforated lugs are positioned on the shoulders of the handle and at the base. Two lines of chain decoration are located on the upper body. One is situated immediately below the neck and encircles the vessel; the second is slighly lower and runs to the base of the handles before tailing off at either side approximately 9.0 cm down the body of the vessel. One chain does not quite meet the base of the handle. One lug is completely pierced.
