Physical description
Silver sisal straw and mauve crinoline hat decorated with Plymouth rock plumes. The toque crown has an indented top and fascinator of three layers of mauve crinoline. The top layer is upturned. The plumes are attached crossways at the rear of the crown and brim and again between the bottom layers. The interior is lined in black silk and fastens to the head with a band of black hat elastic.
