This bark painting shows Milpurrurru’s bold and dramatic drawing style, in which outlines and emphatic rarrk are an integral part of the composition. The artist depicts spiny anteaters and gurramattji (magpie geese), totems of the Ganalbingu people associated with the Arafura wetlands.
