About this work

Timothy Wulanjbirr is a Kuninjku speaker who belongs to the Yirridjdja moiety and produces bark paintings for Maningrida Arts and Culture. The artist has depicted a palm tree near his outstation at Barrihdjowkkeng, in the Tomkinson River district of Central Arnhem Land. The billabong there is known for the many frogs that inhabit its marsh-like surroundings.
