Physical description
Mask is made of a lattice of narrow beads of pith interwoven with stiff fibre. The bottom of the face consists of a truncated cone or cyclinder with protruberances representing eyes on the stalk, a pierced nose with wooden pieces and ears. The bright pink is unique to the Sulka people which comes from the pith of an elder tree.
