Physical description
Long coat in black felted wool with short funnel neck and fluted sleeves. Fastens at centre front with five covered shank buttons. The front panels feature a vertical top-stitched seam and an additional panel at the hem which creates greater length and a slightly flared silhouette. There are two deep patch pockets with top flaps placed at hip level to each side. The sleeve cuff features a deep slit and the back has a single vertical top-stitched seam in addition to the side seams. The garment is fully lined in a combination of coffee-coloured acetate and quilted rust coloured acetate in the lower section.
