Physical description
Wedding outfit comprising jacket and skirt.
(a) Short tailored jacket in cream corded silk with curved notched lapels and fastening at the centre front with 4 spherical buttons covered in fine cream hand crochet. The front is constructed with 6 curved vertical panels and the back of 4 panels. The jacket is fully lined in cream silk.
(b) Full length skirt with no waistband and softly pleated bustle at rear in heavy cream duchess silk satin. Two darts at front waist and fastening at centre back with concealed zip. Additional horizontal panel at front hemline which has been cut on the bias and is a subtly different shade of the same heavy silk satin. Fully lined in grey/green acetate.
