Physical description
The contemporary Phantom shield bears the text 'BLACK 1989 CIVIL WAR' painted above the image of Phantom which refers to the tribal conflict in which the shield was used. The Phantom, a contemporary symbol of invincibility warns the bearer's opponents to beware of the man who never dies.
