About this work

Born at Lockhart River in Far North Queensland in 1979, Rosella Namok belongs to the Aankum language group. Namok emerged from the Lockhart River Art Gang, a group of artists under the age of thirty who focused their skills and energies in painting and printmaking, with the aim of achieving recognition both nationally and internationally.
