Physical description
Outfit comprising black wool jacket and trousers and white linen shirt.
(a) The double breasted jacket is cut with deep lapels and fastens with four plastic pearl buttons. The front, back and sleeve seams have been left open at places to create a slashed effect. The back panel dips down at the centre back. The jacket is unlined.
(b) The large white linen shirt buttons down the centre front with seven mother-of-pearl buttons. The sleeves, back and left front chest all feature a horizontal slash held together with a button. There are two large patch pockets on the lower front.
(c) The trousers are cut with a narrow period-style cut and high waist. There are horizontal slashes across each knee. The fly front fastens with a metal zip and plastic pearl button and the waist has five fabric belt loops stitched to the outside
