Physical description
		The male and female figures represent important ancestors. Each are carved from fern trees and decorated on the face and abdomen with linear and dotted designs. In common with the sculptural forms of Ambrym's Atingting (slit drum) and mague (tree fern sculptures), the figures have large heads and circular eyes.
