About this work

Known for his witty parodies of couture fashion, Franco Moschino appropriates here gold-plated cutlery and crisp white linen napery as decoration. Irreverently playing with culinary forms in a manner suggestive of ornamental military braiding, epaulettes and cufflinks, Moschino brings new meaning to the power suit for the ‘ladies who lunch’.
