Physical description
The horizontal piece of calligraphy is read from right to left. The four characters 日行一善 means `every day do one good deed’ with 日 meaning `day’, 行 meaning `do’, 一 meaning `one’ and 善 meaning `good [deed]’.The words or characters are written in the regular script of Chinese calligraphy. The characters are written in beautiful and elegant simple brushstrokes and are well balanced and composed.
