Dancing Disco Pumpkins | Studio Workshop
Levels 3–10

Mon – Fri, 10am, 12.30pm
NGV International

Be inspired by the playful potential of pattern and the bold and imaginative practice of contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama. This educator-led program begins with an engaging exploration of the way artists have used colour, line, shape and pattern in artworks on display in the Gallery, including Kusama’s monumental sculpture, Dancing Pumpkin. Then, in the studio, create your own moveable two-dimensional pumpkin, inspired by the patterns you discovered along the way.
Please note that UV lights will be activated for a brief part of this workshop.

Cost: $24 per student
