Explore a dynamic range of artworks from Mother: Stories from the NGV Collection and other displays at NGV Australia to discover stories about love, identity, culture and Country. Through lively discussion, learn how artists use art to explore relationships, express identity and share meaningful stories about family and connection.
Students will:
- Explore how artists represent family, belonging and connection through different artforms
- Identify the ways artworks can communicate stories about culture, identity and care
- Share ideas about family, inspired by works from the NGV Collection
Duration: 1 hour
