Top Arts 2026 Online | VCE Art Creative Practice

Can’t make it to the Gallery? Gain insights into the ideas and working methods of artists in Top Arts 2026 with an online introduction to the exhibition. Join an NGV Educator for a critical discussion of artworks through the Interpretive Lenses of VCE Art Creative Practice. Help students explore the artists’ diverse sources of inspiration and thoughtful use of materials. 

Learning Objectives ​

  • Analyse themes, concepts and ideas in the work of Top Arts 2026 artists through the interpretive lenses
  • Describe how Top Arts 2026 artists have explored, developed and refined their topics
  • Discuss sources of inspiration, materials and processes used by exhibitors

Duration: 45 mins

Cost: $45 per school (Please note that multiple schools may participate in this virtual excursion. For private sessions a booking fee of $150 per school applies)

We require four weeks notice for all bookings.

Changes to your booking must be made in writing. Changes can be made up to 14 days prior to your visit. Invoices will be sent prior to the visit. Full program fees will be incurred for late cancellations or amendments.

Students must be supervised at all times by a teacher or adult. We request:
• At least one teacher/adult for every 20 students for students in Year 2 or above.
• At least one teacher/adult for every 15 students for K to Year 1 students.

Are you booking another program on this date?
Please provide details of any relevant themes and skills your students are learning about at school. While we cannot offer individually tailored programs, our museum educators will consider this information when selecting and discussing works of art during the program.

Date Selection

We recommend you provide three date options for your program to avoid disappointment. We will do our best to accommodate your first preference, however due to high demand this may not always be possible.

Any amendments, including changes to participant numbers, must be made by email at least 14 days prior to the program. Invoices will be sent prior to the visit.
