Top Arts 2026 Online | VCE Art Making and Exhibiting

Explore Top Arts 2026 online. Join an NGV Educator and gain insights into the ideas, working methods, materials, techniques and sources of inspiration of a range of exhibiting artists. This interactive online introduction to Top Arts 2026 lets students explore key curriculum ideas through exhibitors’ works of art and visual diaries and examines the curatorial, conservation and design considerations of the exhibition. 

Learning Objectives

  • Analyse and interpret themes, concepts and ideas in the work of Top Arts 2026 artists
  • Examine how Top Arts 2026 artists have explored, developed and refined their works of art
  • Analyse and discuss sources of inspiration, materials and processes used by exhibitors
  • Discuss the considerations and preparations made by the NGV for Top Arts 2026 including exhibition design, artwork conservation and the curatorial process

Cost: $45 per school  (Please note that multiple schools may participate in this virtual excursion. For private sessions a booking fee of $150 per school applies)

We require four weeks notice for all bookings.

Changes to your booking must be made in writing. Changes can be made up to 14 days prior to your visit. Invoices will be sent prior to the visit. Full program fees will be incurred for late cancellations or amendments.

If less than 10 students attend a program, minimum fees may apply
Students must be supervised at all times by a teacher or adult. We request:
• At least one teacher/adult for every 20 students for students in Year 2 or above.
• At least one teacher/adult for every 15 students for K to Year 1 students.

Are you booking another program on this date?
Please provide details of any relevant themes and skills your students are learning about at school. While we cannot offer individually tailored programs, our museum educators will consider this information when selecting and discussing works of art during the program.

Date Selection

We recommend you provide three date options for your program to avoid disappointment. We will do our best to accommodate your first preference, however due to high demand this may not always be possible.

Terms and Conditions

We do not take tentative bookings. Bookings are considered firm at time of booking. Any amendments, including changes to participant numbers, must be made by email at least 14 days prior to the program. Invoices will be sent prior to the visit. Full program fees will be incurred for late cancellations or amendments. Payment must be paid at least one week prior to the visit.
