Thank you for participating in the NGV Schools Support Program. Please note that this is a booking request only. You will receive confirmation via email within 5 working days. We require 4 weeks’ notice for all bookings.

Date Selection

We recommend you provide three date options for your program to avoid disappointment. We will do our best to accommodate your first preference, however due to high demand this may not always be possible.

Due to capacity limits please note that some groups may need to be split across multiple exhibition entry times and large groups may need to be split across more than one date.

Please keep in mind the duration of the program you are requesting, snack and lunch breaks and and that programs start on the hour from 10am.

Amendments and Cancellations

We do not take tentative bookings. Any amendments, including changes to participant numbers, must be made by email at least 14 days prior to the program.

Travel Reimbursement

The NGV is pleased to be able to offer subsidised transport as part of the NGV School Support Program. In most cases, bus costs will be fully subsidised, however in some instances (e.g. large groups or travel from remote areas) the subsidised amount may be capped.

Schools should book and pay for their buses as usual and forward documentation of travel costs (eg a quote or receipt from bus company) before the visit.

After the visit is complete and we have received documentation of travel costs, we will send an NGV Purchase Order number. Schools are required to send an invoice for the amount quoted as per the purchase order within 10 business days. If an invoice has not been sent by the school by this time, the Purchase Order will be closed and the reimbursement will be voided.

Feedback and Photography

To enable us to continue offering free and subsidised programs, we appreciate you taking the time to complete a short survey that is sent out following your visit. You will also be asked to provide additional feedback, quotes and anecdotal evidence of your students experiences and may also be asked to participate in photography or case studies for use in reporting. We are grateful for any opportunity to document the NGV School Support Program in action as it is invaluable when communicating the impact of this program.
