NGV Teens: Arnsdorf
What is sustainable fashion?

Jade Sarita Arnott will introduce teens to the concept of sustainable fashion and how she incorporates it into her clothing brand Arnsdorf in this interactive online event. Teens can engage in a hands-on activity of repurposing old clothes into a functional bag.

Designer: Jade Sarita Arnott
Jade Sarita Arnott is the designer and founder of Arnsdorf, a modern fashion brand that is a B-Corp and has Ethical Clothing Certification and is working to bring about a new level of accountability to the industry through its approach to transparency. Arnsdorf is produced locally in its own factory in Collingwood and has a retail store in Fitzroy. Prior to the brand’s relaunch, Jade was located in New York, showing annually at Sydney Fashion Week as well as showing her collections in Paris and New York and was stocked in over fifty stores globally. She gave it all up in 2012 in response to the state of the industry but returned with a new approach to design and transparency.
