The Melbourne Art Book Fair is an annual event, established in 2015, that offers a unique platform for bringing together a diverse range of art publishers, artists and designers from around the world. Providing vital links with international fairs in New York, London, Tokyo and Paris, the Melbourne Art Book Fair celebrates Melbourne’s status as one of only eleven UNESCO Cities of Literature in the world.
The Melbourne Art Book Fair 2020 will bring together publishers, artists and designers to showcase some of the world’s best art and design publications for discussions, book launches and workshops.
The Fair will take place throughout NGV International from Friday 13th March – Sunday 15th March, 10am – 5pm.
The Cornish Family Prize for Art and Design Publishing
The National Gallery of Victoria expands on the success of the Melbourne Art Book Fair with a prestigious international book prize, The Cornish Family Prize for Art and Design Publishing. The Cornish Family Prize is the first of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region, and will award the winner with $15,000 AUD, with additional $1,000 AUD prizes for up to five finalists.
