NGV x Officeworks Teacher Award

NGV and Officeworks share a commitment to fostering creativity, through providing teachers and students with opportunities for enriching learning experiences with the visual arts.

The NGV x Officeworks Teacher Award recognises an outstanding teacher for a teaching practice that:

  • • Inspires the creativity and unique artistic expression of students, and;
  • • Fosters student engagement with the visual arts.

The Award provides the recipient with a monetary prize, art materials and resources, and professional learning opportunities with the NGV to continue to develop and explore new ideas for innovative teaching projects that inspire student creativity and artistic expression and foster engagement with the visual arts.

Prize

  • • $3,000 cash and $3,000 Officeworks gift card to support the development of creative teaching and learning projects;
  • • Officeworks materials pack;
  • • Unlimited access to NGV teacher professional learning programs and learning resources in 2026 (valued at $1,280);
  • • Tailored opportunities to meet NGV and Officeworks staff to support development of teaching and learning projects;
  • • 1-year NGV Teacher Membership (valued at $95), and;
  • • 1-year NGV School Membership (valued at $395).
