Explore

Celebrating a new display of Pacific and Torres Strait Islander art and design from the NGV Collection, enjoy an afternoon of free talks and performances by exhibiting artists, community members and NGV curators.

The Art of the Pacific display brings together a selection of works from the NGV Collection by artists and designers from Polynesia, Micronesia and Melanesia, and their diasporas. Featuring photography, printmaking, painting, sculpture, video, fashion, tapa and lei, the display celebrates the strength and innovation of contemporary creative and cultural practice from the Pacific and Torres Strait Islands.
