This year, the NGV is seeking your support to help us secure Ernst Ludwig Kirchner’s Officer and waitress (Offizier und Kellnerin), 1915 for the Gallery’s Collection.

Join Ngarrindjeri artist, Emma Stenhouse for an all-ages creative making workshop and discover a story from Ngarrindjeri Country about Pondi/ Ponde, an ancestral river cod who used his giant tail to carve the curves of the Murray River.

Book into one of two sessions and create your own fish puppet inspired by this special story.

About Emma Stenhouse

Emma Stenhouse is a Ngarrindjeri artist and educator who works in painting, weaving, print-making and fashion. Emma was a recipient of KHT’s Blak Design program in 2024, has created homewares for Vue and Myer, exhibited at Kinya Lerrk Gallery and runs educational art programs at schools across the state.
