Presented by Heidi Victoria as part of Melbourne Art Book Fair

As COVID-19 emerged and opportunities for the Performing Arts evaporated overnight, multi award winning photographer / environmental portraitist Heidi Victoria decided to document those hardest-hit. She produced a series of compelling images to inspire future generations when faced with seemingly insurmountable circumstances.

There are over 40 images in this exhibition and over 60 in the accompanying coffee table book. They are complemented by stories written by the more than 70 portrait subjects themselves.

From stars of the stage and screen, music and comedy, to the backstage and technical crew who are the glue of any show. These are their stories.

Join Heidi as she reveals the stories behind the images of Performing Arts professionals in the exhibition and book ‘The Show Must Go On: What the Performing Arts were doing when they weren’t doing what we know they do.
