2026 NGV Summer Appeal

This summer, the NGV has an exciting opportunity to acquire three significant works by pioneering women photographers of the early twentieth century: Dora Maar’s Fashion study, 1936, Annemarie Heinrich’s Eve’s apple (La manzana de Eva), 1953, and Anne Brigman’s Quest, 1931, for the NGV Collection.

Support the appeal

Explore Women Photographers 1900–1975: A Legacy of Light, relax on a bean bag or engage in some quiet drawing inside the low sensory space. This area will have fewer people, lower lighting, and sensory aids.
