National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The theme of NRW 2022 is Be Brave. Make Change.

As part of the Department of Education and Training’s Positive Start initiative, and in partnership with Federation Square, the NGV warmly invites Year 3-6 students from Government and low fee paying non-government schools to engage with the themes of NRW through an immersive program of Indigenous art and dance at NGV Australia and Federation Square. Begin the day with an NGV educator-led tour of the Indigenous Collection to explore the diversity of artistic expression across the land and learn about the strength of Indigenous cultures. Continue the experience with an energetic dance and culture workshop led by Indigenous Outreach Projects at Federation Square’s Edge Auditorium.

Duration 2hrs 30mins
